Company profile
History

A family's passion for wholesome quality food is the key to Preference'a success as a poultry processor.

Over forty years ago in Montreal, Christos Simitsakos opened a small butcher shop just as his father had in their native Greece. Simitsakos focussed on attracting a loyal clientele by understanding each customer and providing attentive service. He took note of people's preference in cuts, remembered family occasions, and took budgets into consideration. The company grew and expanded.

Today, Preference is a 30 000 square-foot poultry-processing facility employing 100 people and a chain of speciality butcher shops, the emphasis on putting the customer first remains the same. Along with Christos, sons Elias, Emmanuel and Milton run the business.
